Full Bike Service
Iron Cycles knows how important bike maintenance is. Servicing your Harley-Davidson at Iron cycles every 2500 miles will keep your bike running it's best! The service mechanics here perform all factory recommended 2500 mile interval maintenance procedures, which includes:

· Drain engine oil & filter and replace with Dynacycle Oil & Oil Filter *
· Clean or replace tappet screen (Big Twin only)
· Drain primary lube and replace with bike specified type
· Adjust primary chain
· Adjust clutch
· Inspect & clean spark plugs
· Clean or replace air filter
· Check tire condition and air pressure
· Check brake fluid
· Check condition of front and rear brakes
· Check charging system & battery
· Check all electrical components and functions
· Adjust & lube (throttle, idle, & clutch) cables
· Adjust and check condition of drive chain or belt
· Check suspension
· Test ride
· Check for oil leaks

Additional maintenance every 10k miles
· Drain fork oil and replace with PJ1 Fork Oil

· Drain transmission lube and replace with DynaCycle (Big Twin only)*

Lube and adjust neck bearings

* We strongly recommend using DynaCycle for all your oil and Transmission needs over any other manufactures brand oils. These oils are the premier product on the market and do cost a little more but well worth the expense please ask us about them.

Chroming Service
Iron Cycles offers chrome plating services at competitive prices. All of our plating services includes the industry standard of acid dipping to clean the part, ( may include an additional charge to bead blast), nickel plating as second coat and final coating of clear for protection and durability. Our show chroming service adds extra copper plating to fill in surface imperfections at an additional cost’s to give you the best overall end result. The overall end result depends on the quality of the original part supplied to us. You will get the best possible results in return.

Engine & Transmission Remanufacturing
Whether needing your engine or transmission rebuilt or a new one set up, tuned correctly and installed, we have the expertise and knowledge to perform these tasks to your complete satisfaction. Complete Machine Shop

We handle all Harley Davidson/Buell motorcycle machining services ranging from basic head services and cylinder boring up to full blown motor and transmission rebuilding for every application from street cruiser to race track set-ups on our Kwik-way and Bridgeport milling machines. We perform all head services from decking and CC ing the chambers to full blown port and polishing services. We perform case clearancing for bigger bores or large lift cams. We can modify your stock carb for installation of a thunderslide or modify your S&S carbs to accept from 1 to 3 thunderjets for your street or pro stock race needs. We perform turning services on our lathe from bushing fabrication to thread repair services. We can weld and repair your cracked or damaged cases (engine Trans, primary).

We will take the time to sit down and explain the ins and outs of bike building a custom here in NJ to what is involved on our end of the build up.

Hi-Performance Modifications

Here at Iron Cycles we take extreme pride in turning your ride into a daily ridden screamer. We are an authorized Dyno-Jet power commander certified tuning & installation facility and an S&S authorized repair center. We custom tune all fuel injection base maps to your specific ride. We start building our performance packages by way of installing better flowing intake & exhaust systems. We then re-jet your stock carburetor, aftermarket carburetor (or fuel injection system) Move onto better performing cams, higher compression pistons and our head massaging packages or go whole hog with a stroker and/or big bore engine kits. Re-gearing of your primary drive train, secondary drive train or internal transmission gearing can be customized to what ever you desire.

Our master mechanic Tom Crede Jr has had motor oil running in his veins since he was born. He grew up in a family of machinist and mechanics that all served their country during wars. From as far back as documented pictures show he has had a wrench in his hands or a bike under his ass.. Tom prides himself in the fact of always keeping up with the most recent technology or racing development and applies it to everything he touches. As a part time racer he applies his track experience and lessons learned to the daily rides of his best friend’s shop of customer’s rides. His old ride was an original early 87 softail with an 82 cubic inch motor that was putting out just about 105 hp and 95 ft lbs of torque 6250@rpms. This combination was good for consistent 12.3’s in the quarter @ 109mph at a combined weight of rider and bike of 725 lbs. with 14” ape hangers. His most current ride consists of a sleeper 883 sporty that’s been punched out to an undisclosed stock bore that is currently running solid 10.0-11.00’s with a 3 degree rake 4 “over front end and 18” apes. Tom’s computer expertise with the fuel injected bikes has been in the ability to extract the most power out of you’re injected ride. Let Us tune you’re ride for the most fun available. No speed will be reported as this is the shops sleeper ride. If racing or street performance is in your blood then you need to stop by and talk shop with Wally or Tom.
